Before you start any marketing campaign or launch a business it is important to set goals, timeframes and allocate a suitable budget. This will allow you and your chosen marketing strategist (or marketing agency) to provide a ‘scope of works’ document and a set of recommendations.
Traditional marketing agencies normally ask for a monthly retainer and state that they will provide a certain amount of hours each week for a monthly fee. I work differently. I itemise my time and through transparency and collaboration highlight the work I have carried out, the items that have been built and the impact the campaign has had.
